Your Shopping Cart

Add to Cart:  There are two ways of adding parts to the

shopping cart or RFQ basket.  Knowing the part number

of the item you would like to purchase or knowing the

attributes (for example knowing the thread size, shoulder

length and material of a socket head shoulder screw). 

With our product navigator you can navigate your way

easily to the product of your choice in no time.

 

If You Know The Part Number

              Click the RFQ or the shopping cart (depending

                 on whether you are purchasing a part or

                 requesting a quote.)

                Enter the part number and the quantity.  Then

                 select “Add to Cart” OR “Add to RFQ”.

 

If You Don’t Know The Part Number

                First, click selection button for either inch or

                 metric products, which are just below the “Part

                 Search” box on the upper left side.

                From the tree, select the appropriate group

                 (for example, select “Gears” if you are looking

                 for a spur gear).

                Then, click on the type of Spur Gears (Metal

                 or Plastic).

                Next, click on the product attributes (Pitch, No.

                 of teeth, bore size, etc.) and select the values that

                 meet your minimum requirement.  The attributes

                 can be selected randomly.  They are, however, laid

                 out such that the minimum selection is achieved by

                 selecting from left to right.

                Once you have found a part that meets your

                 requirements, click on the part number.

              A page will be opened with full details of the item

                 you selected.

                From this page you can enter the quantity of parts

                 you would like to purchase.  Then, select “add to cart”

                 (or you could add this item to the RFQ basket if pricing

                 is not available for the quantity you are requesting.) 

                 You should add any part to the RFQ basket that requires

                 any type of deviation from the standard specifications.

 

Change Quantity:  If you need to amend your order, enter the desired

quantity in the appropriate input box and click Update.

 

Delete:  To remove an item from either the shopping cart or the RFQ,

click the button on the bin under the “delete” heading.

 

 

 

 

Continue Shopping:  If you wish to continue shopping,

click on the product group to the left and expand the

tree until your desired selection is found.

 

Customer Reference:  This selection is provided to allow

you to cross-reference our part number with your internal

part reference.

 

 

Payment Options

 

SDP/SI make available to all our customers the

convenience of ordering Online 24 hours a

day, 7 days a week.  As a result, we have

provided two payment options that will allow

most of our customers to use online orders

to place or compile an order.

 

Credit Cards

• E-mail Order – we will call for payment

 

Credit Card payment option

 

The transaction is done completely online

including your credit card information.

 

E-mail Order

 

The steps are the same as using your credit

card except you click the “E-mail Order”

button.  Do not enter the credit information

for this option.  One of our sales personnel

will call for your payment information in order

to finalize the transaction.

Is your credit card transaction secure?

 

Yes, in addition to our secure measures, we have

also implemented data encryption via Verisign

secure socket layer (SSL) to ensure your privacy

and security when shopping at our online site.

 

How do I place an order?

 

1.  Click the shopping cart icon at the upper right

     corner.

2.  Review your shopping cart;  make sure the items you

     selected and quantities are correct.

3.  Click the online checkout.

4.  Fill in your billing and shipping addresses.

5.  Click the “Credit Card” button.  Do not click “E-mail Order”

     unless you have changed your mind and now want to

     order via e-mail.

Checkout:  Once you are satisfied with your selection and

you are ready to place an order, click the “Checkout” button.

Then, enter your shipping and billing information followed

by your payment options.
